Baby Shima is a famous artist with millions of followers on many social media platforms. She kickstarted her career as a Malaysian contestant in the well-known Indonesian singing competition D’Academy Asia. Her performance and the judges’ comments that she received during the contest brought the public’s attention to her, giving her a massive following in Malaysia and Indonesia. Massive hits of hers such as Roadblock Hatiku, Pura Pura Bujang and Tak Dapat Raya elevated her to viral stardom, with those songs gaining more than 100 million views in total. This achievement was further recognized when she received the YouTube Malaysia Gold Creators Award in 2020.
